The School of Education is an exciting and rewarding place to study. We are pleased to welcome         students from across the world into our vibrant community. As one of the largest   and  most            respected education departments of Tanzania University, we lead the way in   research and teaching   quality.                                                                                                                                            

The School of Education offers a three year undergraduate programme.  Students  who major in  Education can be awarded the degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in  Adult Education, Commerce, Educational Psychology and Physical Education. Also the the school offers B.Sc. (Education) and B.A. (Education) degrees in collaboration with the collages of Applied and Natural Sciences, and  Arts and Social sciences respectively.

Also the school offers four Master's degree programmes, that is, Master of Arts in Education,  Master of Arts in Applied Social Psychology, Master of Education (science education) and Master of Education in Management and Administration. These masters are done by coursework and dissertation. There is a possibility to do masters by thesis as well.
